MUST READ: Why Men Love Breasts (BOOBS) Secrets Revealed.
Theory Which Explains Why Men Love Breasts (BOOBS)
Being a man, you might already know how it feels when you witness and judge that fleshy- soft part of women in front of you. Yes! I’m talking about boobs or breasts of women. Most of the men, sometimes, feel awkward of it. I mean, they get confused whether they’re doing it right or wrong. Do you think it’s okay peek into a woman’s private part?
Hold on! Let me say this. There is an explicit reason behind this typical behaviour of men. Read further to know about it.
The Hidden Mystery Behind Why Men Love Women’s Breasts
Scientists and experts have never really found any satisfactory clarification or reason for this anomaly, but recently, Larry Young, the Neuroscientist, has found an annotation that ‘makes a lot of sense’ to him.
What is the reason that straight men give so much of their attention to those bulbous, big bags of fat limping from the chest of women?
Larry Young is a professor of psychiatry at Emory University. He studies the neurological basis of complicated social behaviours.
According to him, the evolution of human beings has reined in an old neural circuit which initially evolved for strengthening the mother-baby bond at the time of breastfeeding. It is using the same brain circuitry for strengthening the relationship between the couples.
Men love breasts just like a baby loves breasts.
Oxytocin and Breast Stimulation
Oxytocin is released when the nipples of women are stimulated. Oxytocin is also called ‘love drug’.
How Does it Work?
Well, at the time of breastfeeding, when the nipples of a woman are stimulated, a neurochemical oxytocin, which is also called the “love drug”, gets released into her brain. This chemical helps her in focussing her affection and attention on her baby. However, recent research has revealed that the stimulation of nipple also increases the sexual arousal in many women. Moreover, it also triggers the same areas of the brain as the clitoral and vaginal stimulation.
Larry Young, according to this point of view, states that when a sexual partner, massages, nibbles or touches the breast of a woman, it activates the oxytocin release in the brain of the woman, the same way it happens when the woman nurses her baby. So, as per this perspective, the oxytocin released helps the woman in focusing her attention on her partner and strengthens the desire to bond with him.
Conclusively, it means that men can make themselves a lot more desirable when they stimulate the breasts of the woman at the time of sex and foreplay. In a way, evolution has led men to want to do this.
However, before all you men start rubbing and stimulating the breasts of your other half like some Aladdin’s magic lamp, you need to understand one important remark made by Fran Mascia Lees, the Anthropologist in Rutgers University. He states that it is always necessary to note the cultural differences, too, along with what the evolutionary biologists suggests being a universal reason for the emotion and the behaviour. This is important because in some of the cultures of Africa, for example, women do not cover their breasts and men do not find the breasts as attractive as men in other parts of the world find them.
Even though breasts are not covered in some cultures, it doesn’t mean that stimulating the breasts is not a part of the foreplay in that culture.
However, it does sound like an established comment, the stimulation of breasts during sex or foreplay has not been studied much in anthropological context.
